How can you tell the story of Małopolska in a way that feels delicate, poetic, and unlike anything you’ve seen before?
We came up with the idea to show it… woven from lace.
Bobowa lace — intricate, bobbin-made, full of floral patterns and airy, openwork ornaments — is one of the most beautiful crafts you can find in Małopolska. We wanted it to become a metaphor for what this region truly is: rich in tradition, breathtaking landscapes, but also lightness and space to breathe.
With the help of AI, we created a series of surreal visualizations where Bobowa lace transforms into entire mountains, valleys, castles, trams, and people. Hikers climb peaks woven from the finest threads, while trams glide along tracks of delicate, floral patterns. All set against a dark background to emphasize even more the contrast between the subtlety of lace and the monumentality of these landscapes.
